Q&A with Miyaeva Renae
What inspired you to launch your brand, Every September?

I always wanted to launch a mommy & me brand, and when I noticed there was a gap in the market when it came to boy mamas, I knew I needed to change that!!
What is the bravest thing you’ve done as a lifestyle creator and female founder?

The bravest thing I’ve done as a lifestyle creator and female founder was deciding to build a brand that’s rooted in my real life.
It meant sharing my journey as a new mom, being transparent about the highs and lows, and creating a business that reflects my values, not just trends.
I had to trust that my authenticity would resonate more than a perfectly curated image. That trust in myself was the bravest leap.
What’s a non-negotiable in your daily routine that keeps you grounded and focused?
Slow mornings and coffee!!
What’s been the biggest challenge in your journey as a founder—and how did you navigate it?

The biggest challenge has been not getting stuck in my own head, questioning if what I’m creating is ‘good enough.’ It’s easy to overanalyze and hold yourself to impossible standards.
What advice would you give to aspiring female entrepreneurs and creators in the fashion or lifestyle space?
My advice is to lead with your voice, not just your vision.
Trends will come and go, but the way you tell your story is what makes your brand timeless. Don’t wait until everything feels ‘ready’
How do you personally define success—and has that evolved?

I used to define success by numbers… sales, followers, launches. Now, I define it by alignment.
If my work feels true to who I am, supports the life I want to live, and creates something meaningful for others, that’s success to me.
Over time, I’ve realized it’s less about chasing milestones and more about building something that still excites me when I wake up in the morning.
What’s a project, idea, or creative vision you’re excited to explore next?
More launch drops and designs.
What’s a book, podcast, or piece of content that recently sparked inspiration?

Lately, my son Stetson has been my biggest source of inspiration. Seeing the world through his eyes has reminded me to approach my work with curiosity, patience, and joy.
He’s taught me to slow down and find beauty in the smallest moments, which has completely shifted how I create and what I want my brand to stand for.
